.

Exactly 60 years ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) came to power after a bloody civil war and established the “People’s Republic” of China. The CCP was able to win the civil war because most Chinese people were disappointed with the legitimate Guomindang government, a corrupt and [...]

Lynyrd Skynyrd Returns with “God and Guns”

One of my favorite songs, especially when I’m riding down the road, is Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama.” I even reach over and hit the volume button when Ronnie Van Zant says, “Turn it up.” Truthfully, there aren’t many Lynyrd Skynyrd songs that come on the radio that I don’t turn up and sing along [...]

Liberal Book Banners

The issue was that the McCain-Feingold law bans corporate money being used for electioneering. … At the first Supreme Court argument in March, a government lawyer, answering a hypothetical question, said the government could also make it a crime to distribute books advocating the election or defeat of political candidates so long as they were paid [...]

Rep. Green To Require Photo ID At Town Halls

Photo ID for a town hall meeting? I seem to recall this particular congressman was not in favor of photo IDs for the purposes of voting in national elections. Seems odd. Does this mean illegal aliens won’t be allowed to participate in town hall meetings.

Robert Gibbs Feigns Ignorance About White House Snitch Program

To paraphrase,”I wouldn’t know anything about that”, Robert Gibbs says. He has been trained well in the “Chicago” way. He avoided the question about how the data received through the new snitch program will be handled. Gibbs tried to side step the issue by ” pretending” not to “know”. As a matter of fact, he delivered his line so well, like that of a Mob street informant (a rat) that I was ready to slide Mr. Gibbs a 20 dollar bill in order to get the skinny on the story.

Obama Health-Care Snitch: Snitch On Your Neighbor! – Uncle Barack Wants You! ….. To Be a Rat Fink!

I were a Russian immigrant to this country, shivers would be running down my spine about now. But I’m not from Russia. As an American, that grew up knowing only freedom, it’s hard to wrap my brain around this latest and very Progressive idea. Uncle Barack like Uncle Joe, Uncle Fidel and Uncle Hugo lust for control and he has learned their lessons well.

Silencing The Media Anywhere Should Matter Everywhere

from mysanantonio.com Robert Rivard

Few American television viewers outside Miami are familiar with Globovisión, Venezuela’s 24-hour television news network that serves as that country’s CNN. Its expansive Web site features content American readers would expect to find in the best U.S. newspapers.
Spanish-speakers with DirecTV can tune in Channel 110, or access its programming [...]

Democrat Leadership Partners With Rube Goldberg on Healthcare

The first thing I noticed about this chart is that once you enter into it there is no way out. Your health will be held hostage by bureaucrats. With every paycheck you earn you will pay a ransom in the form of taxes, yet freedom will never come to you. This maze is our destiny if the current healthcare bill passes into law. After further study of this “flow chart”, it did reveal something interesting. If the plan on the chart works as it is laid out, right about where the chart says “consumers” is where the Road Runner gets hit with a big rock.

The Washington Post: Fastest Damage Control Ever

by: Conor Clarke
It was fast. Very fast.
At 8.04am, Politico’s Mike Allen publishes an article: “For $25,000 to $250,000, The Washington Post is offering lobbyists and association executives off-the-record, nonconfrontational access to “those powerful few” — Obama administration officials, members of Congress, and the paper’s own reporters and editors.”
At 10.33am, Washington Post editor Marcus Brauchli sends [...]
