California’s Political Meddling in the ‘Age of Stupid’

By Daniel Coffey
The movie “The Age of Stupid,” in the style of the drug movie “Traffic,” attempts to tell six interwoven example documentary stories about the reasons why we failed — past tense — to adequately address global warming. The film-clip story elements are chronicled retrospectively by an archivist-narrator set in the year 2055. In that [...]

Water to Wine, Carbon No More

Ok…For the moment I’ll accept this premise without even asking how this revelation was arrived at, I concede the point. Since president Obama didn’t say how he did it, let’s speculate as to how this truth was achieved. Let’s see, the reduction occurred over the last 8 months, coincidently reductions began right after Obama was elected. How cool is that?

Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth About Climate Change

Here’s the bottom line on Mr. Gore. Anyone who would compare global warming to World War II is only trying to scare you so you will hand over more control of your life to them. How can I say this? How can I know this? If Mr. Gore’s facts are solid, why use the scare tactics? If something is scientifically provable, there is no reason to try and scare people into belief. Did Newton resort to fear tactics to convince the world there is this thing called gravity or did the facts bear this out. If in order to belief, you have to be scared into it, you can bet it’s a lie. Most people don’t do their best rational thinking when they are scared. So it follows, if they want you scared, they don’t want you thinking.

Junk Science Week: DDT, the banned lifesaver – Nothing prevents malaria better than DDT application

The Banning of DDT – Wider Implications

To put it simply, the banning of DDT is meant to control the population in a given area. Clearly DDT works to kill mosquitos, the Panama Canal may have never been completed without its use. At the very least, without it thousands more would have died had DDT not been used. Some say the future is ours to make, every action has repercussions. Remember, people make this decisions, people with political power, and we live with the result. What would be the result in this instance? As John Lennon said, “Imagine” what would be the result for a population unaffected by Malaria? Well, the first thing is, a lot of people are not going to die. That puts pressure on all aspects of that particular nation. All basic needs will increase in demand, food, water, work, markets, products, time and personal satisfaction with one’s life. Remembering first that a rulers first concern is remaining in power. A population that expands at a rate faster, grows larger and becomes more sophisticated represents a problem for those in power.

DDT was banned in the name of the animals, the Silent Spring. As with Global Warming, it is evident there’s some “exaggerating going on”, this is clear. Look at all the things proposed by the Progressives in America concerning “the animals”. Every proposal leaves people with the short-end of the stick. From nuclear power being shut down because a Snail Darter fish “might” be harmed, to endangered rats vs farmers to huge tracts of land being put off limits to people because an owl might be inconvenienced. The banning of DDT serves to keep a lid on the population and ensuring power for those who have it. All programs of this kind should be viewed through the lens of “how does this help people, you and me”. If it prevents us from growing food or keeping the lights on, it should be opposed. Science tells us that when a species of animal is under stress, it adapts…. evolves. It would seem that the actions of Progressives/ Liberals serve to both stunt Human development and slow the evolution of animals of all stripe, with the goal of beings of their strip being the top predator. DDT means the ability to not die, and life demands Freedom. And Freedom is something that scares Progressives/Liberals more than anything……….because you might not agree with them!

The Green Religion, UK Style

But their choice of god to worship is interesting, they chose a god so “weak” that its survival depends on us mere mortals using compact florescent lights rife with mercury in our homes.
